Schools
The South Ken Kids Festival reaches out across London and beyond. Last year we worked with over 40 schools from nurseries to secondary schools. Our selection of activities includes meet the author events, workshops, poetry, film screenings, theatre and translation: in French, English or both. Whether you’d like to welcome an artist to your school or bring your class to an event at the Institut français, we have the right option for you!
In order to give children unforgettable experiences of the world of book-making, story-writing and illustration, we offer a wide range of events. This year, we are:
- Bringing renowned artists into classrooms for special workshops;
- Hosting events at the Institut français tailored specifically for schools (performances, film screenings and meet the author events);
- Organising a brand new competition for budding BookTubers;
- Holding a multilingual poetry slam for schools to take part in.
The full school programme is available here: Primary Schools / Secondary Schools
